TRAVESS

I

A

When the old way of living no longer sustains you.

Transitions cannot be rushed.

They ask for presence, care, and a safe space where the body can, little by little, find a new way forward.

Travessia is a therapeutic journey that integrates Body and Art

for people going through moments of change, crisis, or transition.

You don't have to go through this process alone.

A journey of transformation does not happen in the mind alone.

You may understand rationally what you are going through. You have talked about it. You have searched for answers. You have tried to move forward. And yet, something continues to ask for your attention.

Because some experiences do not simply need to be understood. They need to be lived, felt, and integrated.

That is why, in my work, we begin with the body. The body senses before we do. Art gives form to what has not yet found words. Experimentation allows us to explore different ways of feeling, doing, and responding.

Together, they create space to experience new possibilities of being, doing, and responding to what we are going through.

How Does This Process Unfold?

Every journey is unique.

I don’t follow a fixed protocol or apply techniques in isolation.

From our first conversation, we build a therapeutic journey based on your story and the moment you are living.

Body, Art, and Therapeutic Listening come together throughout the process, creating space to explore and experience new possibilities.

BODY

to notice sensations, movements, and ways of responding

ART

as a language to give form to what we experience

THERAPEUTIC
LISTENING

to put into words what is being experienced, reflect, and create meaning

Everything happens in an integrated way.

The combination of these elements changes according to what we are exploring in each session.

Because the journey is not about adapting you to a technique.

It is about finding what makes sense for you.

Who Is This Process For?

Travessia was created for people who are going through a change and realize that the way they have been living no longer sustains who they are becoming.

It may be noticing that you are simply moving through the rhythm of your days, feeling a kind of tiredness you cannot quite explain, or realizing that even after understanding rationally what is happening, some experiences continue to remain present.

It may be a change in your relationships, your career, the way you see yourself, or your relationship with your own body.

You don’t need to arrive with clarity about what is happening. The journey itself can be a space to begin noticing.

What can we experience along the journey?

Each person moves through this journey in their own unique way.

There is no predefined path and no single outcome that applies to everyone.

Throughout the process, we may begin to notice patterns that previously happened automatically, and observe more clearly the ways we feel, think, act, and relate to others.

The journey can also create space to experiment with different ways of being, choosing, relating, and responding to what happens.

Little by little, what once seemed to be only a rational understanding can be experienced in other ways: through the body, our choices, our relationships, and the way we live.

Rather than seeking an ideal version of ourselves, the process supports the integration of what we feel, think, and do.

Transformation does not happen because someone provides ready-made answers. It can emerge when we have space to notice what we are experiencing, experiment with other possibilities, and discover, through our own experience, different ways of being, choosing, and responding.

How Does It Work?

The process begins with an initial session of approximately 50 minutes.

This first meeting is a space to get to know your story, understand the moment you are going through, and explore together whether this approach feels right for you.

If we decide to continue, we begin a journey of 8 Therapeutic Sessions, either in person or online.

During this period, I also offer support between sessions via WhatsApp, when needed.

At the end of this cycle, we evaluate the next steps together.

Some people finish their journey there.

Others choose to continue and deepen the work.

At the end, each person decides how they want to move forward.

Why Body and Art?

I don’t use body-based practices or expressive resources as complementary techniques.

They are part of the very way I understand the therapeutic process.

The body allows us to notice what we are not yet able to name.

Art offers a language through which these experiences can take shape and be perceived in different ways.

It is in this meeting between perception, expression, and experimentation that we can explore other possibilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have artistic skills?

No. In this work, art is not about producing something beautiful or technically correct. It is a language for expression and exploration.

You don’t need to know how to draw, paint, or create. You simply need to be open to experimenting.

I’ve never been in therapy before. Can I start?

Yes. No previous experience is necessary. The process begins with what you are experiencing and is built gradually, according to what feels meaningful in each session.

How do I know if this process is right for me?

That is exactly what the initial session is for.

It is a first meeting where we get to know your story, the moment you are going through, and talk about what you are looking for. From there, we explore together whether Travessia feels right for you.

What if I don’t know how to explain what I’m feeling?

You don’t need to arrive with answers.

Often, what has not yet found words can begin to be noticed through the body and expressed through other languages.

The process begins precisely from this place of discovery.

Does therapy replace medical or psychiatric care?

The therapeutic process is complementary and can take place alongside medical or psychological care when necessary.

Whenever needed, the work takes place in dialogue with other forms of care.

Is there a difference between in-person and online sessions?

The essence of the process is the same.

In person, there is greater possibility of exploring body-based practices and expressive materials available in the therapy room.

Online, I adapt the practices to your space and reality, using the materials you have available.

How long does the process last?

Travessia begins with a journey of eight sessions. At the end of this cycle, we decide together whether it makes sense to conclude the process or continue with further sessions.

We don’t always need more answers.

Sometimes, we need space to notice what we are experiencing and explore other possibilities.

If you are going through a moment of change in your life, I would be glad to talk with you about this Travessia.
